Canine Life® is a completely balanced, all-natural, hypoallergenic diet for dogs.
- All Canine Life® muffins start with one of our pre-mixes.
- All Canine Life® products are hypoallergenic.
- All Canine Life® formulas are available in adult or puppy muffins and pre-mixes.
- It is important to consult with us if feeding any formula except our regular hypoallergenic formula to ensure the best recommendations are given based on your dogs health requirements.
Canine Life® offers three convenient forms of preparation: complete muffin, meatless muffin and health food pre-mix. Two of the three preparation methods are pre-made and baked in muffin tins. The third; Health Food Pre-Mix includes dry ingredients and instructions to make the muffins yourself.
Complete Muffin
Includes all ingredients baked, packaged and frozen for easy storage. This is the most convenient method. All you do is thaw, break the muffin up in your dogs dish and serve. You can also warm the muffins in a microwave before serving, 10 – 15 seconds on the HIGH setting.
Meatless Muffin
Includes all ingredients except the meat, baked, packaged and frozen for easy storage. This method gives you the option of feeding a raw meat diet, with the comfort of knowing all the nutritional requirements of your dog are being met.
Health Food Pre-Mix
Includes all dry ingredients. You add the meat, vegetables, apple, egg, oil, and water, and bake. Refer to our Baking Instructions for further information.
Health Food Pre-Mix
– 1 Batch Bag = 20 Muffins (Trial Size)
– 6 kg = 150 Muffins (7 ½ batches)
– 12 kg = 300 Muffins (15 batches)
The following ingredients are standard with the complete muffin and our regular hypoallergenic formula: Ground chicken, green beans, carrots, red apple, organic milled whole brown rice, whole oats, whole barley, sunflower oil, filtered water, calcium, egg, carob, 100% pure alfalfa, kelp, oregano, marjoram, parsley, rosemary, ginger.
The protein and vegetables described above with the complete muffin, are to show an example. The protein and vegetable sources can be a combination of any of the items listed above. Each batch of Canine Life® contains one protein, one orange, and one green vegetable. Refer to our Canine Life Ingredients page for a description of the ingredients used, and why we use them.
Canine Life® recommends the addition of an Omega 3 fatty acid supplement, to your dog’s daily diet, e.g., wild salmon oil, which is available through The Skye’s The Limit, your retailer, or most health food stores.
